Samsung launches Galaxy S5 at MWC 2014

Samsung has finally taken the wraps off the latest flagship. Let’s start with the fingerprint scanner. It was telling that Samsung didn’t lead with the new sensor, instead burying it towards the end of the presentation. As I expected, the fact that you have to swipe your finger over the Galaxy S5′s home button is a real pain. Basically, the registration process asks you to swipe your finger straight down over the sensor. It’s easy enough. The Galaxy S5 which comes across as an evolutionary upgrade rather than a revolutionary upgrade. It brings fingerprint scanner goodness and brings IP67 certification as the chief upgrades. Let us have a look at its specifications:

The smartphone features a leather cum plastic back with perforated holes which make the grip of the smartphone slightly better. Samsung will launch the smartphone in April globally with a price tag and we can expect to get the same then.
